There's good sides to moving back to the 'rents. Less expenses = more camera kit! Simplicity is the way forward I think. It's quite easy to go a bit OTT with lighting and so on. The same can be said for your bike shots, especially the US shots. There are times when doing very little is best.
And yes, more money for gear. Although I'm looking at spending 3-4 grand in the hope that the next year will see me getting a job or regular work. -- Beards not bombs. I know, he's so hard to track down! I ended up just staying in the one place and waiting for him to stay still. Like you said though, it makes it more worthwhile when you get a shot. Glad you like it
