Police officers hold protesters back outside the Bank of England and London Stock Exchange. The method, known as 'kettling', saw thousands of people held for hours without water or toilet facilities.
According to The Guardian 'kettling' is dubious in it's legalities. Under the human rights act you cannot prevent people from moving about freely in public spaces. They seem to get away with it claiming it's for your own safety... Comments
